Jeffrey "Jeff" Pancoast

Jeffrey “Jeff” Pancoast, age 64, of Newark, DE, and formally Mesa, AZ, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, after a short, but courageous, battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, on October 30, 1957, he was a son of the late Kenneth S. and Jean C. (Collins) Pancoast. Jeff lived his entire life as a free spirit eager for adventure, was not afraid of taking risks, and was a lover of life, his family, and his Savior. He touched those that came to know him with his unconditional love, generosity, and willingness to always help. Jeff was an avid stock trader who loved the game and could see market opportunities missed by most others. Most recently, he held several positions in the hospitality industry in DE and PA. He was previously the Sales Manager for MSC Construction in Raleigh, NC. Jeff also worked at Vanguard as a Securities Representative and Site Manager. Jeff spent most of his career as a passionate small business owner of Indoor Air Quality Testing based in Mesa, AZ. Jeff also received an Associate’s degree in Paralegal law in 1995 from Widener Law School and graduated from Wilmington High School in 1976. Jeff is survived by his children, Justin Pancoast (Ryan) of Clinton, UT and Jessica Dellose (Carl) of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Sienna, Justin, Brielle, Carl, and Peter; and his siblings who meant the world to him, Lynn Woerner (Francis) of Newark, Jeanne Davis (Edward) of Bear, and Kenneth Pancoast of Newark. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of the Helen Graham Cancer Center, Christiana Care, and Seasons Hospice for their incredible care and support. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance regardless of their vaccination status. Interment will be held privately.
