David Michael Pasch

David Michael Pasch, age 52, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Born in Cheverly, MD on October 28, 1968, he was a son of Bruce Edward Pasch and the late Catherine Ann (Simone) Pasch. David grew up in Parksley, VA. His career as a research scientist/analyst began at DuPont then onto QPS where he dutifully worked for over 15 years. David was deeply passionate about his favorite tv show, ‘Twin Peaks’ and on many occasions, made his family listen to the soundtrack. He was darkly comedic and always had a quip ready to go. David loved music, especially The Smiths, The Pet Shop Boys, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. He frequently went to concerts when he was able. David was loved by everyone who met him, even if he didn’t particularly like them back. In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Pasch and best friend, Tim Devonshire. He is survived by his father, Bruce Pasch; sister, Carol Mears (Isaac); brother, Bruce Pasch, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Daniel Mears (Lauren), Jennifer Kershaw (Thomas), Dara, Jason, Sarah, and Kristine; great-nieces, Brynhild Kershaw and Kaelyn Mears; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 2 pm. Interment will be held privately. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the CDC and Governor of Delaware.
